Mark 9:30-32
30 Leaving that region, they traveled through Galilee. Jesus tried to avoid all publicity
31 in order to spend more time with his disciples and teach them. He said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed. He will be killed, but three days later he will rise from the dead."
32 But they didn't understand what he was saying, and they were afraid to ask him what he meant. (NLT)
Think about Jesus telling the disciples about His impending death and how hard this must have been. But He needed to prepare the disciples for what was ahead. Jesus does the same with us. He is preparing us for the mission He has for us. Don’t be afraid to ask Jesus questions, be diligent in your prayers and be diligent in your study of Scripture. The Holy Spirit is with you every step of the way. He lives within you to guide, direct, teach and show you God’s will for your life. He will show you how to glorify God your Father. Take the time to be still and hear His voice.
