Romans 6:23
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (NLT)

Death is our payment for sin. When we reject God and Jesus our wages for that sin of rejection and unbelief is death. That is spiritual and physical death. It is eternal separation from God, but God in His grace and mercy not wanting any to parish provided a way out. The way out is the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. We need to recognize that we are sinners; we need to believe by faith that Jesus paid the penalty for our sins by dying on the cross and that He rose from the dead so that we could have new life. Salvation is simple. God did not make it complicated. Salvation has always been based on faith in God. Now through the final sacrifice that God gave in His Son Jesus God provided salvation for all of us.
When you give a gift to someone, you give it freely at no cost to that person -- it is free. But the person receiving the gift has to accept the gift from the giver. If the receiver rejects the gift they do not receive it. When a gift is given you do not know what it is, but God tells you what the gift is. The free gift is eternal life through Christ Jesus. This is the most wonderful gift that can be given or received. If you do have it then continue to share this free gift with others so that they can have it too.
 Do you have it?
If you don’t have it then it is time to receive this free gift from God. Confess that you are a sinner to God; ask Him to forgive your sins, ask the Lord Jesus to come into your heart and life. Don’t wait to receive this free gift, today is the day of your salvation.

Romans 5:9-11
9 And since we have been made right in God's sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God's judgment. 10 For since we were restored to friendship with God by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be delivered from eternal punishment by his life. 11 So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God — all because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done for us in making us friends of God. (NLT)

“We have been made right in God’s sight.” – We can rejoice in this that by the blood of Jesus Christ and His death God has paid our debt and we are made right with Him.
“We have been restored to friendship with God.” – God through His grace and mercy has brought us back into friendship with Him.  As Adam was in a friendship with God before he sinned, through Christ we now have that friendship with God.
“We have been delivered from eternal punishment.” – Through faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross, confessing to be sinners, asking for forgiveness, believing in Christ and asking Him into our lives He frees us from eternal punishment.
“We can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship.” – In our new and wonderful relationship with God we can rejoice and praise and glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for all that He has accomplished on the cross and in our lives.

Romans 5:6-8
6 When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. 7 Now, no one is likely to die for a good person, though someone might be willing to die for a person who is especially good. 8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (NLT)

We must continually remind ourselves that those who have not accepted Christ are utterly helpless and without hope. Christ has called each one of us to bring the message of hope to a lost and dying world. Christ came at just the right time, came at God’s appointed time, He accomplished God’s will and died for all of us sinners. Jesus is the only hope this world has and through Christ God showed us His great love for us by the death of His son while we were still in our sin. God loves us, Christ loves us, we are to love God, we are to love one another and we are to show and share this love with those around us. We are to give this love God has given to us away and as we give this love away God will fill us with more love to give away. Share Christ with others and accomplish God’s calling in your life.

Romans 3:23-26
23 For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard. 24 Yet now God in his gracious kindness declares us not guilty. He has done this through Christ Jesus, who has freed us by taking away our sins. 25 For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to satisfy God's anger against us. We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us. God was being entirely fair and just when he did not punish those who sinned in former times. 26 And he is entirely fair and just in this present time when he declares sinners to be right in his sight because they believe in Jesus. (NLT)

What more can be said? These verses say it all. God is a gracious and glorious God. We are all sinners and we have all sinned against God. No one is exempt. But God is a fair and just God, not wanting any to perish, but providing a way back home to where we belong. And that way is through believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. Forgiveness comes by believing that Jesus came to take the punishment for our sins and to satisfy God’s anger against our sins through the shed blood of His son Jesus. Believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.
When we say, “That’s not fair!” what we really are saying is, “I did not get my way.” But what did God say? That He will give us what we need, to obey His commandments and to give Him all the glory. By this He will bless your life and make you a blessing in other people’s lives. Be a blessing and share Jesus with someone today.

Romans 1:16-17
16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes — Jews first and also Gentiles. 17 This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, "It is through faith that a righteous person has life." (NLT)

The power of God is at work in your life and through your life. God wants to work His saving grace to everyone who believes. Yes, God wants to use you! God chose you! He chose you because He has made you unique to witness to specific people that no one else can. You can accomplish this from start to finish by faith in Christ. God has already given you everything you need to accomplish His will. Therefore do not be ashamed to share the Good News about Jesus Christ for God is right there with you every step of the way. He wants you to speak the words of the gospel, let Christ shine through your life and the Holy Spirit will do the rest.

Acts 10:43
43 He is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name." (NLT)

The coming of our Savior was talked about for hundreds of years before He came. Now it is our turn to talk about how He came, why He came and what He has done for the entire world. And part of that telling is what He has done in our life, how He forgave us and how He loves us. We need to let people know that everyone who believes in Jesus will have their sins forgiven through His name and saved by His grace. Share the greatest hope and gift this world has ever known.

Acts 4:12-13
2 There is salvation in no one else! There is no other name in all of heaven for people to call on to save them."
13 The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men who had had no special training. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus. (NLT)

The Pharisees knew that Peter and John were common or ordinary men with no special training. But that is exactly who God loves to use to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Yet this one thing they did notice that stood out more than anything else and that was “they recognized them as men who had been with Jesus.” The more time we spend with Jesus, the more others will recognize that we too have been with Jesus. They will see Jesus living His life through us. The reason that Peter and John could proclaim the Gospel with such boldness is because of the amount of time they spent with Jesus.
There is no one besides Jesus who can save! In all of history Jesus is the only one who died for all people so that they would be reconciled to God. It is the name of Jesus that we need to share with those around us.

John 11:25-26
25 Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die like everyone else, will live again.  26 They are given eternal life for believing in me and will never perish. Do you believe this, Martha?" (NLT)

Do you believe this? Jesus is the resurrection and the life. That life begins with Jesus. Salvation begins with believing in Jesus. When you believe that Jesus is the Messiah, that He died for your sins on the cross and that He rose from the dead then you will receive the free gift of Salvation. Jesus paid it all and all means all. You are given eternal life for believing Jesus’ words and actions.
God chose the simplicity of the Gospel to confound the wise. It is each of our calling to share our faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ with this lost and dying world. Each of us may receive gift(s) but all of us are called to share our faith in Christ. Let your life be a reflection of Jesus Christ.
