Galatians 2:19-20 19 For when I tried to keep the law, I realized I could never earn God's approval. So I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ. 20 I myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me. So I live my life in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (NLT) When we receive Jesus as our Savior we are crucified with Him and now Christ lives in you. The worldly self has died and the spiritual person is born. Therefore we are to live in this earthly body and to live our lives by trusting in the Son of God. Who loved you enough to give up himself for you so that you can have a relationship with God the Father. You are no longer to live for yourself but to live for Christ.
