Galatians 2:19 19 For when I tried to keep the law, I realized I could never earn God's approval. So I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ. (NLT) The law that was written to the Jews was to show them that they need God. There was no way that anyone could keep the entire law (even though the Pharisees tried.) The law was to show the Jews that they were sinners in need of a Savior. As Paul states “I realized I could never earn God’s approval”, through the law Paul saw that he was a sinner therefore he died to the law or realized he was dead spiritually. When Christ was crucified on the cross He made it possible for us through faith to come alive spiritually so that we can now live for God. We can now have a relationship with our true Father. Through Christ we who believe have been crucified with Christ. The old man is dead and the new man in Christ is alive unto God. Now then stop living for the world and the flesh and live by the Spirit in the new man in Christ to the glory of God. Let Christ live through you.
