READ – Philippians 1:6
When we have faith in God and walk by faith, we trust Him to build our lives. Confidence in Him is part of our new relationship He will guide us through the Holy Spirit. Would we put ourselves in God’s hands if we did not trust Him? You do not sit in a chair that you do not trust to hold your weight. If you have confidence in the chair, you do not even think about sitting in it. You just sit. The same should be true in our daily walk with God. We trusted Him for salvation based upon the truth of His Word. His Word will also build the trust or faith for our daily life.
Someone showed you from God’s Word what He says about us and His salvation. You believed what God said and became a new person. Now, because of who we are in Christ, we can grow in our confidence for Him to build our lives. His Word is the blueprint for building and we must study the blueprint.
