Mark 3:20-21
20 When Jesus returned to the house where he was staying,
the crowds began to gather again,
and soon he and his disciples couldn't even find time to eat.
21 When his family heard what was happening,
they tried to take him home with them.
"He's out of his mind," they said.
(NLT)
The question is who told His family what was going on? What did they say to Jesus’ family that would indicate that “He was out of His mind”? Sometimes our enemy will try to use our family against us. Since usually family is close to you the enemy thinks that he can use them to persuade you to turn from following Christ or at least distract you from serving. Jesus’ family of all people should have known that Jesus was always in control. But sometimes family thinks they know what’s best for you. God always knows what is best for you since He created you. Jesus never took His eyes off of the will of God and neither should we. God is the one to be trusted at all times in every situation even when family means well. Love them but follow Jesus.
