Shine Brightly for Christ

16 Hold tightly to the word of life, so that when Christ returns, I will be proud that I did not lose the race and that my work was not useless.

Hold tightly to the Word of God for it is your life. Inside of the Word it contains everything you need for this life, your life's purpose and God’s will for your life. The Word is living and breathing. It has the power to transform your life into something wonderful that God can use to bring honor and glory to His Son. Run the race that God has set before you. Do not lose heart for God is with you every step of the way. Live a life that glorifies Christ not one that is useless or selfish. So that when Christ returns you will not shrink back but be praising Christ’s return. Therefore let your life shine brightly for Christ.
