Philippians 2:14-15

Shine Brightly for Christ

14 In everything you do, stay away from complaining and arguing,
15 so that no one can speak a word of blame against you.
You are to live clean, innocent lives as children of God in a dark world
full of crooked and perverse people.
Let your lives shine brightly before them.

God wants us to live clean, innocent, blameless lives in this crooked and perverse world. We are not to drag the name of our God and Savior through the mud with complaining and arguing with each other. But, we are to let our lives shine brightly before them so that they will be drawn unto the light of Jesus Christ. In everything you do, in everything you say and where ever you go let your behavior, speech and life be a light to the lost. Let us not give the enemy any ammunition against us but rather always be ready and prepared to do what is right in the sight of God our Father. We sometimes get so caught up in our own little worlds that we forget that we live in a very dark world with perverse people. We are only here for a short while then we go home. While we are here we need to be focused on sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to this world we live in. This is what we have been called to do each one of us. Share the everlasting love of Christ to this dying world.
