2 Corinthians 5:18-21

18 All this newness of life is from God, who brought us back to himself through what Christ did. And God has given us the task of reconciling people to him. 19 For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others. 20 We are Christ's ambassadors, and God is using us to speak to you. We urge you, as though Christ himself were here pleading with you, "Be reconciled to God!" 21 For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. There are some people who say to themselves, let’s move to a new town far from here and start a new life, but what they fail to see is that their old problems and habits follow them wherever they go. Only God can provide a new life and change the old habits. This life is in Christ and Christ living in you. God has provided us with a great opportunity to turn from our sin and selfishness and turn to a new and wonderful life. He calls us to be ambassadors and gives us a message to share, the message of reconciliation. God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. He wants to use our voice to share the message, for us to urge others as though Jesus Himself was here pleading with them to “Be reconciled to God.” Therefore fulfill your calling as an ambassador for Christ and share the message.
