1 John 5:1-5

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his children, too. 2 We know we love God's children if we love God and obey his commandments. 3 Loving God means keeping his commandments, and really, that isn't difficult. 4 For every child of God defeats this evil world by trusting Christ to give the victory. 5 And the ones who win this battle against the world are the ones who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Every believing child of God defeats this evil world by trusting Christ to give the victory. 1 Corinthians 15:57 "and to God — thanks, to Him who is giving us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (YLT)." We know that we are God’s children when we love God, we love our brothers and sisters in Christ and that we love to obey and keep God’s commandments. As children of God we are not to keep this victory in Jesus to ourselves, but share this victory with others because they too need this victory in their lives. Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Son of God can have victory over their hurts, habits and hang ups. Spread the news, the Victory is in Jesus.
