Mark 8:21-26

Jesus Heals a Blind Man
22 When they arrived at Bethsaida, some people brought a blind man to Jesus, and they begged him to touch and heal the man.
23 Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village.
Then, spitting on the man's eyes, he laid his hands on him and asked, "Can you see anything now?"
24 The man looked around. "Yes," he said, "I see people, but I can't see them very clearly.
They look like trees walking around."
25 Then Jesus placed his hands over the man's eyes again. As the man stared intently,
his sight was completely restored, and he could see everything clearly.
26 Jesus sent him home, saying, "Don't go back into the village on your way home."
(NLT)

The reason Jesus did not heal the blind man in the village was that they just wanted to see a show. They were more interested in seeing a miracle then believing in Jesus. But the man must have wanted to be healed and believed that Jesus was the only one who could heal him. He did not want the man going back through the village so that the people there would ooh and aah over him. Jesus wants people who believe and trust Him. We need to intently look to Jesus so we too can be completely restored to the fellowship that Jesus wants.
