Growing in the Knowledge of God

5 So make every effort to apply the benefits of these promises to your life. Then your faith will produce a life of moral excellence. A life of moral excellence leads to knowing God better.  (NLT)

 

Apply this promise to your life daily. God has given you something to do and that is to take His promise and plant it in your life and let it produce fruit in your life. You begin with faith in Christ, as your faith grows it will produce moral excellence. What is moral excellence? Moral excellence is doing that which is right in Gods eyes, standing for what God stands for, doing the things that Christ did and doing them consistently. You are to imitate your heavenly Father as Jesus did, not grudgingly, but from the heart. A life of moral excellence leads to knowing God better.
